A picture I took of him at his March 23rd concert in the Fillmore.
I bought my tickets for his SF concert today. (: Its going to be my third time seeing him: October 21, 2008, March 23, 2009, & soon, November 29, 2009. Out of the two concerts I went to, the March one was probably the best. Mainly 'cause he played in my neighborhood, got his autograph, & talked to him & his bandmates for a minute. (: I really hope to hear his new material soon at his concert.Tuesday, September 29, 2009
Happy Birthday Justin Nozuka! <3
Today is one of my top favorite artists, Justin Nozuka's birthday. He's still kind of unknown by many, but many know him as George Nozuka's brother. His music is so refreshing from music today. I find his lyrics, which he writes himself, to be very original. Even his sound is original. I've been a fan of his since like 2007 from watching his rendition of Bill Wither's "Ain't No Sunshine" on Youtube. I hate how girls say that they love him mainly 'cause he's hot, could play the guitar, &has vocals. I remember at his concert in March that hella girls were on his nuts. Stop getting on his nuts! haha. I find him to be one of the very few artists that are better live than on audio tracks. Really. He plays with so much intensity & soul in each of his songs & has really good stage presence.
Back at One.
Well, I kind of sorta quit Tumblr. For now at least. I'm getting tired of people not posting their own original content, reblogging & not crediting the person who posted it nor the real creator, & people just hating on each other through the internet. As well as, memes. Yes, they are funny the first time around, but people are pushing it. For example, the Kanye VMA memes are still going around & being made. Get a life! The biggest thing I hate the most is tumblarity. Wtf is it? It makes you post content & your tumblarity goes up when someone likes your post, follows you, and/or reblogs it. I swear, its like a huge popularity contest.
Anyways, I'm back to Blogger. I used to have an account years ago. Probably around freshman year of high school when I was hosted by a website & used Blogger's Php exporter. Its funny how social networking & blogging sites are a changing trend. Hopefully, I will keep this account alive with posts of my mundane life, my thoughts & opinions, & things I'd like to share.
G'nite!
